60 Minute Prenatal Massage

Description

As a precaution, prenatal massage services are offered beginning in the second trimester and are not provided during the first trimester. Prenatal massage is a gentle and supportive treatment designed to help ease the physical and emotional changes that come with pregnancy. Each session is tailored to promote relaxation, relieve tension, and support overall well-being in a safe and comfortable environment. A specialized prenatal massage table is available, allowing for supported belly-lying when appropriate. This positioning can provide a more natural and deeply relaxing experience while allowing for effective treatment of the back, hips, and shoulders. Positioning is always adjusted based on your comfort, stage of pregnancy, and safety considerations. Prenatal massage may help reduce muscle tension, improve circulation, decrease swelling, support better sleep, and promote a greater sense of calm throughout pregnancy. While generally very safe, some clients may experience mild soreness, temporary fatigue, or lightheadedness following a treatment. In certain cases, massage may need to be modified or postponed, including high-risk pregnancies, high blood pressure, a history of preterm labor, or other medical concerns. Medical clearance may be required when appropriate. Your safety and comfort are always the top priority. A current health history is required, and open communication is encouraged throughout your treatment. Services may be adjusted or declined if it is not in the best interest of your health or the safety of your pregnancy.
